A Three-Day Jeep Adventure on the Rubicon Trail

Every summer, Auburn Jeep Club hits the legendary Rubicon Trail for our biggest event of the year—The Main Trip. It’s more than just a weekend on the rocks. It’s a tradition. A reunion. A celebration of the off-road lifestyle and the community that surrounds it.Whether it’s your first time on the trail or you’ve run it more times than you can count, this three-day trip has something for everyone.

What’s Included

Our Main Trip is designed to make sure you can focus on the adventure while we handle the rest.

  • Camping on AJC’s Private Property
Set up camp in a beautiful Sierra setting reserved just for our group. You’ll have a home base that’s relaxed, rustic, and surrounded by friends.
  • Trail Rides All Weekend
Get your tires dirty on one of the most iconic trails in the country. Whether you’re rolling solo or with a convoy, there’s no shortage of fun, technical lines, and epic views.
  • Meals Provided
    • Friday: Dinner
    • Saturday: Breakfast & Dinner
    • Sunday: Breakfast
Fuel up for the trail with hearty meals served at basecamp.
  • Evening Entertainment (TBD)
Music, firepits, and a few surprises—we’re working on something fun to close out each night.
  • Raffle & Giveaways
Score some awesome prizes and support our fundraising efforts. Every ticket helps us give back to the community.

Who Can Attend

We welcome both AJC members and guests. All rigs must be Rubicon-ready and trail-legal—this is a challenging trail, and safety comes first. Not sure if your Jeep is ready? Reach out and we’ll help you figure it out.

Why It Matters

The Main Trip isn’t just for fun (though it’s definitely that). Proceeds from this event go directly toward the causes we care about—local youth programs, veterans organizations, trail preservation efforts, and emergency responders throughout the foothills.

What To Bring

A detailed packing list will be sent out to all registered attendees, but in general, make sure to bring:
